CHA's Block Captains

The Cow Hollow Association Block Captain Initiative started as an effort to build a network of individuals on each block within the CHA boundaries that would facilitate building a sense of community among their neighbors. The goals of the initiative include:

To create a sense of neighborliness by helping residents get to know their neighbors;
To provide a forum where security, parking, traffic, block parties, etc. and other mutual interests can be discussed;
To establish a heightened sense of awareness and preparation for possible disasters;
To keep track of who lives where and who might need extra help in an emergency and get the word out to neighbors about important events and issues.

Be a Block Captain
The role of the block captain is to meet your neighbors on both sides of the block where you live and gather their names, addresses, and telephone numbers/email addresses.
